    ASA 600 – 900

    This type of valve is used to regulate the flow rate or, in other words, to choke the flow.

    Flow control in these valves can be done with short intervals.

    In globe valves, it is necessary to avoid reducing the pressure by more than 20% by choking.

    Excessive pressure reduction may cause an audible vibration and consequent damage to the valve and piping
